Sustainability Credentials
Sustainable Community: the development will deliver a range of amenities to serve the residents including a estate management / concierge service, convenience store, residents’ work space, café, residents’ gym and a community centre.
Open Space: the scheme will transform the surrounding open space including upgrading a Scheduled Ancient Monument adjacent to the site into a new “country park”. A linear park running through the site and urban orchard form part of the green space within the scheme. 13 equipped play areas will be provided.
Carbon Neutral Ready: The residential will utilise air source heat pumps providing the heating to the new homes meaning no reliance on carbon based forms of energy.
Green Transport: a green transport plan includes an electric car sharing club, EV charging points and dedicated cycle zones (including both storage and new cycle lanes)
Social Impact: Citizen is establishing a Community Fund to promote activities onsite to draw the new community together.
